Summary
Laura and her friends are traveling to a protest camp in Genova, Italy. When they get there, they find the army and a tanker sucking all the water out of the protesters well. When they got there, they all agreed to go and protest too. After the protest is broken up all the protesters are arrested. Then the next day the protesters were deported and given back some of their stuff. Then the police interrogated them to find out why they were at the protest. When they were deported they were taken to this camp until they could go back home. When Laura gets home what is she going to do with her life?

Summary
The Carbon Diaries 2017 is about Laura Brown, who is now 18 years old. She has moved away from her parents, who now live in the countryside. Also, since the house she was going to live in was, repossessed she is now living at the Docks. The Docks are a set of apartments that are by the water, but nobody lives there anymore. So a group of people have taken the apartments over so people can live in them illegally. Also, since all Laura's things were taken away from her, she has only about 60 euros to live on for a month, and with that she has to find things to put in her apartment. Also, her carbon card is down a lot because she had to help her parents move all their things out of London. How can an 18 year old live alone in London with no money?

In The Carbon Diaries 2015, France has finally started delivering all of Britain's oil so there will not be as many blackouts. When Laura, the main character goes into her sister's room, she finds all these brochures about Ibiza, a country she wants to go to. A few days later the Carbon Department came to each house and installed Smart Meters, which can tell you how many carbon points you have used so you do not overspend. If you over spend the meter turns off appliances in your house. Laura's mom overspent by 50 points, which were spent on, hours at the gym. When things turn ugly what happens?

In the Book Unwind, it is placed in America in the far away future. A ammendment was made to end a very long war between people pro life and pro choice. To end the war this ammendment says, "Once a child is born and until it reaches the age of thirteen, it cannot be killed on purpose by abortion or when the child is born it cannot , for example put into a dumpster until it dies." However, if any child is between 13 and 18 the parents of the child can choose to have their child unwound. Unwinding is when every part of your body is used to replace parts on other people's body. So if someone has a disease doctors can just replace the part of their body instead of curing the patient. This book is about two kids who are about to be unwound, but they end up with another kid by chance. They are all unwinds, who run from the juvey cops.Juvey cops hunt down Unwinds who go Awol. An unwind going Awol means they are running and hiding trying to not get unwound. This is the story of their escape.
