Summary

When Holling was done bringing the cream puffs down to his teachers car she said he could have one and so he did. He never ate it and threw it away quietly. His teacher never knew until farther in the book. When his teacher has him do one more chore he says for another cream puff. His classmates think he got one so he has to buy 22 cream puffs because he got one and he didn't eat them. The way he is able to get 22 cream puffs is by preforming in a Shakespeare play. When he went to buy them he was $2.80 short. This in the 60's so $2.80 was more money than it is now. He tells the baker and so he needs someone who knows Shakespeare. Luckily he has been studying Shakespeare and so he can buy 22 cream puffs and he gets 2 free.

Summary
Holling Hoodhood is a seventh grader who's teacher hates him. His dad is an architect and is trying to have his son's teachers family as one of their customers. Another problem he has with his teacher is that every Wednesday he has to stay after because the religions of his school leave for a different kind of school. His teacher has to stay after with him and this is another reason she hates him. Holling after school has to read Shakespeare. One day he was clapping erasers and there were cream-puffs in his classroom. He forgot about them and they got chalk all over them. The kids in his class would kill him if he has one.

Summary

When Antsy has his diagnosis by Dr.G he was not satisfied by his answer. This gets him thinking. He remembers that Gunnar's doctor is Dr.G. Therefore, Antsy goes over to Gunnar's house to talk to him about it. He finds out that when he gets there that there was a fight. Mr.Umlat is outside watching his Lexus get towed away because it was repossessed. He goes inside and starts talking about it, but Gunnar leaves. He finds out that, Gunnar is not dying and that Antsy was collecting all of those months for nothing. The next day he finds out from the superintendent that he will be making a speech because they want the school to win a prize and he does not have it in him to tell them that Gunnar is not dying. Over Christmas break Antsy has to work at his dad's restaurant, he gets annoyed at this one person, he has the water pitcher, and so he dumps it on him because he was complaining. The next week on the New York Post there is a picture with a headline "Busboy Baptizes Boswell" The person he dumped the water on was a senator. Antsy thinks that his dad will be out of work because his dad does not own the restaurant Old Man Crawley does. Old Man Crawley is an old man, who is rich and he knows everything that happens. When Antsy is home after sitting on a stool for hours Crawley calls and asks him what happened. He does not need to ask because his spies already told him.

Summary
Antsy and Gunnar go down to a junkyard to find some metal to complete their dustbowl project. While they are down there Gunnar has a magazine and he is picking out his own coffin for when he dies. After they leave Antsy is talking to his friend Ira online. While he is there he sees an ad for what is wrong with you. He clicks on it answers some easy questions and they give him a diagnosis. For a further one you have to pay $49.95. He is suffering from, "rheumatic gout complicated by lead poisoning."

Summary
Antsy is back and this time he met a friend and he has a disease so Antsy wants to do something for him. So Antsy donates one month of his life to him. Now everyone is doing it and Antsy writes all the contracts for the donations. Now Antsy is starting to get weeks of his own for doing things for people and when you give Gunnar a month you give Antsy a week. This gets even better for Antsy. Gunnar's sister is the hottest high school girl ever. Since Antsy is around Gunnar he sees his sister and now he is going out with her.

Summary
All of  sudden she hears a fiddle and she starts to call for help. The fiddle stops and a boy walks into the clearing, that boy is Guisppe, but Hannah doesn't know that. The boy calls for a man and he comes over to him. He tells her that he is going to fire a warning shot. When he fires it the animal has already disappeared. After the cougar left he brings her to Alice's cabin. Alice is the hotel gardener and Hannah knows her.. Pullman tells Hannah that Mirabel is the only cougar that is left and he didn't shoot her because there are not that many left.

Summary
Hannah goes into MacCauley park after she was fired from the hotel. Right now she has stopped to catch her breath and while she is doing it she watches an ant exploring her hand. She thinks back to her father and how he lies in bed dieing. As Hannah starts walking she loses the trail. Her compass tells her that she has to go deeper into the park. So she ties up her skirts, which is looked upon badly when you see your ankles, and she ties up her hair. After she is walking a little ways she comes to the top of a hill and she sees something. That something is a panther.

Summary
Frederick is trying to make a clockwork man and it will not work. He is trying and trying but the way he wants o make it is impossible. All of the working parts are in the head, but he can't fit them all in. Another thing is bothering him. His mother. He was adopted by his master, Master Branch. He was adopted from this horrid place where kids were forced to make fabric on these gigantic looms where you could lose fingers and toes, even your hand. His job was to fix them, this compared to other kids was a great job. When he was there he fixed a machine and the mechanic said he had real talent. Mrs. Treeless was the wicked woman and she never wanted to spend any money. So that is why he fixed the machine, not the mechanic who was going to get paid. The next week he was adopted. He goes to the orphanage to find out who his mother is, but the lady in charge won't tell him and so he threatens her. This gets him kicked out and the lady said she will never tell him. This makes him even more angry. When he gets back to the workshop he told Master branch what had happened. He " knew it would be pointless."

Summary

Ms. Wool stops Hannah as she walks the doors into the hotel. She brings her right to Mr. Grumholdt’s office where Hannah sees the necklace that she took from Madame Pomeroy. Walter who was going to sell it for her but gave the necklace to Mr. Grumholdt. When he gave it in, he got a reward, but lost Hannah’s trust. As was expected Hannah was fired and now her dad will have to lose his leg because Hannah will not have the money to buy the medicine for her dad.

All of these characters have seen each other in one way or another.

Katniss's "grade" on her assessment is good so she may go to the capitol. Johanna her friend is not able to go because in her assessment the arena flooded and she was tortured with water so she freaked out. While she is at the capitol with her unit one person in her unit is killed and the replacement is Peeta. Even the commander of her unit is mad and doesn't want Peeta around.

When it is time for Katniss's trial, she hears that it will test your greatest weakness. Katniss's weakness is following orders. The test is a holographic arena. When she goes into the test, someone orders her to get down, but she sees she can do something, but she does what she is told.

So Katniss teams up with Johanna Mason to do training together. Soon Johanna and Katniss are a little bit more friendly to each other. Katniss is soon a good soldier. When Katniss sees Peeta he has a very cold way of seeing everything.

Katniss is in district 2 to help take over the peace keeper stronghold. When she is there they, won't let her be in any part of the action because she is so valuable. When Gale comes to the district, he helps create the plan to take over the fortress. After they put the plan into action, Katniss is out in front of one of the entrances when she gets shot.

When they get back she finds out that Gale came back alive and they rescued Peeta. When Katniss goes to see him he chokes her because he was tortured by a having tracker jacker venom put into him.

Gale and Katniss are arguing because Gale never told Katniss about Peeta's propo. After that, they go back to district 11 to do some filming of Gale and Katniss. When they are there, they go to Katniss's secret lake with Gale and the film crew. While they are there, they eat and Katniss sings a song about a hanging tree and how someone is hanged he wants his lover to return to him on the hanging tree. the mockingjays around repeat whatever Katniss sings.

Katniss is trying to make a video to rally the districts to become in power of themselves. What Katniss has is wit. She does not have an ability to act though. What they do instead is send her in to one of the distrticts to see wounded people and they will film her their. While they are there hoverplanes come to bomb the district and they hit the hospital where she was. When the hover planes go through the district Gale and Katniss take a few down with their exploding arrows.

Summary

In the book Mockingjay, Katniss is in her family’s room that is in District 13. All of District 13 is underground except of a few windows and the gates that go out of the complex. Since Katniss brought home her sisters cat Buttercup, they have been moved to a room with a window for the cat to get outside. In the room you live in there, is a slot where you put your arm to have your schedule written on. All of District 13 is equal and very organized. Katniss has Command on her arm so she will make a deal with the whole Command for her to be the Mockingjay. This deal will mean that she gets things she wants, but her job is to rally the districts to victory.

When she is there she goes to her old house and her house in victors village. While she is at her house in victors village she smells blood and roses in the study. That can only mean President snow has been to her house. While she was doing this she was being tracked by many hovercrafts because she is so valuable. What will Katniss be able to do for the rebel army when she is only 17 years old.

Then the next day the protesters were deported and given back some of their stuff. Then the police interrogated them to find out why they were at the protest. When they were deported they were taken to this camp until they could go back home. When Laura gets home what is she going to do with her life?

So, she and one of Adi's friends Nate try to go to Sicily from France. They only make it there because of one of Laura's old teachers picks them up to bring them to Sicily. In addition, once they get there it takes almost 2 weeks from Adi to get better. However when they are on the Island there is an Emergency border control. This means the police can arrest anyone who is not Sicilian. How can Laura get home and live her life when the world is falling apart?

So a group of people have taken the apartments over so people can live in them illegally. Also, since all Laura's things were taken away from her, she has only about 60 euros to live on for a month, and with that she has to find things to put in her apartment. Also, her carbon card is down a lot because she had to help her parents move all their things out of London. How can an 18 year old live alone in London with no money?

A letter was sent from school about her suspension, which she took and destroyed, so her parents do not find out. A while later she finds her mom and her teacher of the class she failed. So know she has to go to the Carbon Offenders meetings and she is grounded at home. With a performance with her band coming up how can she go because she is grounded?

If you over spend the meter turns off appliances in your house. Laura's mom overspent by 50 points, which were spent on, hours at the gym. When things turn ugly what happens?

The way you pay for it is by how much carbon was put into the air making whatever you are buying. All over Britain, there are blackouts because there is not enough electricity for the whole country. When one fuse blows at the main power station, all of Britian is left in the dark.

In the Book Unwind, it is placed in America in the far away future. A ammendment was made to end a very long war between people pro life and pro choice. To end the war this ammendment says, "Once a child is born and until it reaches the age of thirteen, it cannot be killed on purpose by abortion or when the child is born it cannot , for example put into a dumpster until it dies." However, if any child is between 13 and 18 the parents of the child can choose to have their child unwound. Unwinding is when every part of your body is used to replace parts on other people's body. So if someone has a disease doctors can just replace the part of their body instead of curing the patient. This book is about two kids who are about to be unwound, but they end up with another kid by chance. They are all unwinds, who run from the juvey cops.Juvey cops hunt down Unwinds who go Awol. An unwind going Awol means they are running and hiding trying to not get unwound. This is the story of their escape.
